Apprentice Hopeful Zoe Beresford Survives By The Skin Of Her Teeth

SANDBACH'S candidate on the hit TV show Apprentice, narrowly escaped being fired this week.

Zoe Beresford, 26, from Arclid, was leader of the losing Team Venture in this week's 'scrapheap' challenge.

She was reduced to tears after her strategy lost her team both set-piece bids for contracts.

And despite recovering well Zoe's team lost the task by just £6.

After a quiet start to the show, Zoe has gradually become more outspoken and confident as the series has progressed.

On this occasion she survived the battle of the boardroom, with Lord Sugar deciding to fire HR consultant Edna Agbarha.

He said he was pleased to see Zoe own up to her mistakes, but warned he might not be so forgiving if it happened again.

A relieved Zoe confessed to fellow contestants back at the house that she had had a narrow escape.

“Another slip up and I’m out,” she said.
