MUCH in the way that Father Christmas has elves to help out in the run up to Christmas, so I imagine James Patterson sits in a huge crime thriller storytelling factory bashing out novel after novel to satisfy the global demand.

And so hot off the busiest press in the world of literature comes Seventh Heaven - the latest in his massively successful Women’s Murder Club series.

Cop Lindsay Boxer is on the trail of a political celebrity who is missing, presumed murdered.

But when a series of fatal arson attacks also hit the San Francisco bay area, Boxer has her work cut out.

The targets have one thing in common: they are all rich, successful, married couples.

With four couples dead, Lindsay is determined to put a stop to the killings and trace the murderer.

The skill with Patterson is his ability to churn out page-turning, action-packed books with plots faster than an Andy Roddick propelled Wimbledon ace.

Shakespeare or Dickens quality writing it ain’t - but if you want a blockbuster for the beach this summer, look no further.
