RICHARD Ashcroft is set to return with his fifth solo studio album, Natural Rebel, on October 19.
The album represents the latest chapter in a hugely successful solo career for the former Verve frontman and Ivor Novello winner.
It follows the number one record, Alone With Everybody, as well as Human Conditions, Keys to the World and These People which all charted in the top five.
Featuring 10 new songs, the singer-songwriter teamed up with Jon Kelly, who has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney and Kate Bush.
Ashcroft has also announced a five-date tour in support of Natural Rebel.
He will be at Albert Hall in Manchester on October 31. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday but if fans pre-order Natural Rebel from Ashcroft's official store they can get access to a pre-sale on Monday.
Ashcroft is also Liam Gallagher's special guest at the former Oasis singer's homecoming at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
And next Saturday he will be playing the Hampshire leg of Carfest in benefit of BBC's Children in Need.
