Sandra Bullock has pulled out of the UK premiere of The Blind Side after her husband Jesse James was linked with a tattooed model.
The Hollywood star, who scooped the best actress Oscar, is no longer able to travel to the UK for the glitzy bash, citing "unforeseen personal reasons".
A statement released by Warner Bros on behalf of the actress said: "Due to unforeseen personal reasons, a trip abroad to support the opening of The Blind Side has been deemed impossible at this time."
The star said in the statement: "I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding and continued support of the film."
Michelle "Bombshell" McGee told US magazine In Touch that she initially made email contact with James's motorbike company looking for modelling work.
Sandra was said to be making The Blind Side at around this time.
The actress has paid tribute to her husband at award ceremonies in the past, saying at the Golden Globes: "There's no surprise that my work got better when I met you, so thank you."
The Blind Side premiere was due to take place at the Odeon West End in London. Sandra was scheduled to attend with her co-star, newcomer Quinton Aaron.
Organisers are still screening the film on Tuesday evening in Leicester Square and guests will be able to use their tickets but there will be no red carpet reception.
