DOGS that like a treat are enjoying hand-baked biscuits for birthdays, autumn treats and even weddings.
Pooch & Puss pet boutique on Crewe Road, Alsager, has started selling an unusual array of dog biscuits — many of which are unavailable anywhere else in the country.
Owner David Glendinning came up with the idea after countless customers requested treats for their pets.
Now biscuits for all occasions including weddings (so the dog does not feel left out on the big day) are on the shelves and at the online store, the Pooch Bakery.
Some of the quirky biscuit designs include hamburger and chips, watermelons, flamingoes and surf boards.
David said: “The response has been very, very good and we get a lot of customers from Europe such as Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Sweden and Poland.
“The dogs love the look, the smell and the taste and they are unique — there is nothing else quite like it in the country.”
