DINNER guests helped children living with cancer when they attended a sparkling society event at Marks & Spencer's Atrium in Chester.
Just under £36,000 was raised for Nicola's Fund, a charity set up in honour of a young girl who died of a brain tumour just before her 15th birthday.
While dinner was being served guests, including Hollyoaks stars Loui Batley and Simon Lawson, were entertained with dancing students from the Hammond School and some swing numbers by former Hammond singer Kade.
Oncology nurse Rhian Pritchard then gave a talk on how the charity has helped many families.
