EXCITED parents-to-be have the chance to see their baby's movements in the womb captured on high definition film.
Warrington Hospital is offering 4D' scans (the fourth dimension is movement) to expectant mothers using ultrasound technology to allow them to see their little bundle of joy before the birth.
Scans are best done between 24 and 32 weeks into the pregnancy and could show the baby making little movements like rubbing its face, yawning, stretching and kicking.
Mustafa Sadiq, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the hospital, said: "It is at this gestation that the best images of a baby are possible.
"The purpose of these scans is solely to allow you to see and record images of a baby moving in the womb as never seen before."
The detail is also high enough to make out fingers, toes, mouths and even the baby's sex.
As the scans are not for diagnostic purpose, the hospital does charge for the special scan and the cost ranges from £60 to £135 depending on how long the scan is and how many images you want.
