A TEENAGE caricaturist has turned his hobby into a career after setting up his own business.
Adam Hanson of Latchford started drawing cartoon portraits at car boot sales three years ago.
Then, after leaving college a year into his course, the 19-year-old approached business development company Inbiz for advice and support on how to further his skill.
After gaining a sound knowledge of accounts, sales and marketing, Adam launched his business, Crazy Caricatures.
Manning his own stand in the Cockhedge Centre from Monday to Saturday, Adam takes bookings for a range of events from weddings to celebrity parties.
He said: "The weirdest caricature that I ever had to do was at a birthday function at The Circle Club in Manchester. I had to draw a man who was only wearing a thong - that was definitely different.
"I once drew a picture for a bloke of his girlfriend and it said: Will you marry me?' I don't know how it went though."
"I try to emphasize features that stand out on a person, like a big nose or large forehead."
