A student claims he is being terrorised where he lives because of his sexuality.
Justin Parker, aged 18, of Davenport Avenue, Crewe, says his life is being made a misery by yobs and drug addicts.
He says he has been spat at on the street, verbally abused and had the windows of his home repeatedly smashed.
He claims he is being targeted because he is gay and because he has reported local drug addicts to the police.
Mr Parker, who studies tourism and leisure at South Cheshire College said: "My life is being made hell by these people and it is making me really depressed.
"I can't even go shopping or walk down the street without people shouting abuse.
"They have smashed my windows four times, cut off my TV aerial and are constantly making up lies about me.
"I have been spat at and even had water poured on me.
"The area is full of druggies and I think a lot of this is because I have reported them in the past.
"The problem has gotten a lot worse here recently, with people sat at the bus stop smoking it. And there is a big problem with cocaine.
"They see me as a vulnerable target.
"I recently came out as being gay and my mum had homo' scrawled on her wall.
"They are not just young yobs, one man aged about 50 has threatened to stab me and get some lads to beat me up.
"I sometimes retaliate and shout things back because they are really in my face and I can't help it."
Mr Parker said he had spoken to his housing association Wulvern Housing about the matter but claimed they had been of little assistance.
A spokesman for Wulvern said: "We take any allegations of anti-social behaviour very seriously and will act on them.
"We have made several attempts to contact Mr Parker in order to investigate these allegations but he has failed to keep the appointments.
"We would urge any of our customers who are suffering from anti-social behaviour, intimidation or harassment to contact their Wulvern neighbourhood co-ordinator on 01270 506200."
