Voluntary opportunities on display at Market Hall

CREWE Market Hall will host an open day this weekend to showcase how residents can get involved with the town’s diverse selection of voluntary and community groups.

Various organisations will have stalls at the Earle Street centre from Saturday, October 27, as part Make a Difference Day - the UK's biggest open event for voluntary organisations, led by the Community Service Volunteers (CSV) charity.

To support the day, Cheshire East Council’s Local Area Partnership and Crewe’s Market Hall staff have organised for local community projects and groups to demonstrate the opportunities available throughout Crewe.

Numerous groups will feature, including charity theatre troupe Musical Mayhem, Crewe Clean Team, Friends of Valley Park, Family History Society, St Barnabas Community Garden Project and Age UK’s senior woodwork group, Men in Sheds.

Information displays will be up until mid November.
