THE traffic lights at a major road junction in Crewe are being switched off this weekend as part of an ongoing refurbishment and energy-saving programme.
Traffic signals on the Crewe Road, Macon Way, Crewe Arms roundabout, will be turned off on Saturday, December 8.
While upgrade works take place, the junction will act as a conventional roundabout.
The lights are being replaced with Light Emitting Diode (LED) traffic signals.
