CHILDREN can make it a Mother's Day to remember at The Crewe Heritage Centre this weekend.

For £35, mums can have a go at driving standard and narrow gauge locomotives at the Vernon Way visitor attraction on Sunday, March 10.

A certificate will commemorate the memorable day, as well as a box of chocolates and a bunch of flowers.

The heritage Centre has a range of railway related exhibits, including the unique Advanced Passenger Train, a working signal box, train rides, engine cab simulators and railway art exhibits.
