WEAVER Vale MP Graham Evans has backed the Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich Guardian’s Action4Jobs campaign.

The campaign – launched two weeks ago – which also has the backing of party leaders David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband, aims to give readers all the information and inspiration they need to get the job they want.

Our new dedicated recruitment section will help bring together employers and education providers to help people find work and develop career opportunities.

Our news team will be focusing on the local jobs market and showcasing career and training opportunities available in the area.

Mr Evans said: “The Guardian’s Action4Jobs is one of the best examples of a local newspaper helping the community it serves that I have seen.

“Although unemployment is relatively low and falling in Northwich/Weaver Vale the Guardian’s campaign highlights the many job opportunities that are increasingly available, offering good quality job opportunities for all.

“It is a pleasure to support the Guardian’s Action4Jobs campaign, helping people into work is good for business, individuals, their families and the wider community.

“I look forward to working with the Guardian, Job Center Plus and local businesses for Annual Jobs Fair.

Editor Carla Flynn said: “By working with key stakeholders such as councils, colleges and local employers we hope Action4 Jobs will provide the information and guidance people need to get the jobs of their choice.

“We have also launched a number of initiatives to try to stimulate more jobs in the area too – so check out our recruitment section for further information.”
