A WESTON pub dating back nearly 400 years has enjoyed a glamorous red carpet re-opening.
The White Lion, built in 1652, was re-opened after a six-week refurbishment programme the property now combines lavishly designed interior with a contemporary twist.
Doubling as a guest house, the historical pub boasts 17 rooms, pub classics and fine cuisine, and a drinks menu with specialist whiskies, locally sourced cask ales and wines by Rodney Densem Wines of Nantwich.
“We’ve brought the White Lion at Weston back to its former glory,” said co-owner Samantha Norris. “All the hard work by everyone involved has really paid off!”
