Nantwich Museum has acknowledged a generous donation to museum funds from the Yorkshire Building Society made as a part of the Society's recent 'Make a Difference Week.'

The museum exists to tell the story of Nantwich's history and to provide a centre for the inspiration, learning and enjoyment of all.

As an independent museum it depends for its finance on donations, sponsorship, commercial activities e.g. its shop and various grants.

It was therefore most grateful for the contribution from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.

The 'Make a Difference Week' campaign is linked to the Society's Small Change, Big Difference scheme whereby its members can choose to donate their pence interest to the Charitable Foundation.

The money then goes to support good causes and charities such as the museum in Nantwich.
