Nantwich Museum has announced two festive events as the Christmas holidays begin.
There will be a Childrens Workshop on Fri 20 Dec providing an opportunity to explore Christmas crafts and take part in quizzes. Drop into the museum between 11.00am – 3.00pm. Storytime will take place at 11.00am and 1.00pm. The cost is £2.00 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.
Christmas Family Fun Daytakes place between 11.00am and 4.00pm on Sat 21 Dec. There will be craft stalls including Christmas cards and decorations, a bookstall, lucky dip,quizzes and a raffle. The Wistaston Singers will entertain with a selection of Christmas carols between 11.30am and 1.30pm. Refreshments will be available.
In the meantime visitors to the museum are invited to bid for a magnificent hamper generously donated by Mornflake which will go to the highest bidder for Christmas.
The museum is also pleased to acknowledge the donation of a Christmas treeby Xmas Tree 2U of Pen Lan Farm, Llangollen. It stands in the foyer and has been decorated by the museum's Craft Group.
