A NIGHT of fashion and shopping raised £1,481 towards refurbishing Leighton Hospital at Crewe.
The Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity event was held at Richmond Village Retirement Village in Nantwich on November 15.
The evening featured a catwalk show of outfits from stores in Nantwich, including Fat Face, Bratts, Wall Street, Parkgate, Cinderella’s and Naïve.
There were also stalls for people to buy toiletries, Christmas items, jewellery, gifts and accessories.
Money raised from the event will be used to help provide enhancements, extra equipment and to fund refurbishment projects across Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, including Leighton Hospital, Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford and Victoria Infirmary in Northwich.
“We are really proud to have held the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity fashion show here,” said Alison Harding, sales manager at Richmond Village Nantwich.
“It is something we have never done before, but it was really good and a fantastic evening was had by all.
“Some of our residents enjoyed it so much they have requested we hold another one.”
Laura Bailey, MCHC fundraising manager, said: “It was a night of brilliant fun.
“The money which was raised will help us to further enhance our services across Mid Cheshire.”
