Crewe and Nantwich MP and Cheshire East’s Mayor were among a number of attendees at the launch of Family Matters, a service that helps separating or separated families get through their break-up in a way that causes as little disruption as possible to their children.
The service is free if at least one parent gets a state benefit or earns less than the UK living wage.
Edward Timpson MP talked about how important the service was for families in Crewe saying: “Separating parents do not always need legal advice. They often simply need common sense and good solid down to earth practical advice,”
