FIREFIGHTERS are at the scene of a house fire in Newcastle Road, Shavington.
Two fire engines from Crewe and one from Nantwich were called the property at 2.44pm.
The house is fully smoke logged and crews, six of whom are wearing breathing apparatus, are using three hose reel jets and a covering jet to tackle the blaze.
Police have set up road closures in Newcastle Road at the junction with Heymoor Green Lane and Newcastle Road at the junction with Crewe Road.
Firefighters have been able to discontinue breathing apparatus use.
All persons have been accounted for. A high pressure fan is still being used to ventilate smoke from the property and fire investigation officers will examine the cause.
