SMALL businesses can make the most of an enterprising training package which gets underway at South Cheshire College early next month.

The tailored programme consists of short free qualifications in leadership and team skills, and mentoring.

The 16 week package kicks off at the College’s Crewe campus from Wednesday, February 5, and takes place every Wednesday evening between 6-9pm.

It is aimed at individuals over 19-years-old who work for a small business (one which employs less than 250 people).

Neil Smith, contracts and development manager at South Cheshire College, said: “These short exciting qualifications are a must for any small business.

“They can help employees to gain additional qualifications which can help them go from strength-to-strength in the workplace and boost the productivity and overall performance of a business from an employer’s point of view.

“We would encourage anyone who is interested in a place on the programme to sign up early as we expect the courses to be popular.”
