A CREWE photographer has been enlisted by Google to help the web browser take its famous Street View indoors.

Johnathan Clover of Cloverleaf Images has been accepted by Google to become one of an elite group of ‘Google Trusted Photographers’.

As part of the programme, Johnathan can now take Google Business Photos, a service recently provided to Crewe Lyceum allowing the public to look inside the theatre online.

The new concept by Google essentially takes their “street view” indoors and allows the public to look inside a business, enabling them to walk around, explore and interact with business.

Johnathan said: “I am delighted to be one of the few Google trusted photographers in the north west.

“It’s a great opportunity for businesses to show off their facilities - for instance, in shops customers can browse the merchandise, in salons they can have a look at the treatment rooms, and for accommodation they can see the bedrooms.”

Johnathan’s recent project enabled the Crewe Lyceum theatre to show off its new look.

Gemma Whalley, marketing manager at the Lyceum, said: “The finished product is fantastic and captures the theatre’s beauty and elegance in its entirety, a feat not managed by a simple photograph. We were so impressed with the results, we hired Cloverleaf to complete other production jobs for us.”
