A parakeet was spotted by M6 patrol staff after posing for a 'selfie' in front of motorway cameras.
The exotic bird was perched in front of the camera that is monitored by the Central Motorway Patrol Group, before flying off.
The CMPG then tweeted: "This little fella shocked our Ops Centre staff by perching on a camera mount at J16 of the M6".
