FIREFIGHTERS are busy tackling a large blaze involving three commercial greenhouses in Herbert Street, Crewe.
When the crews arrived they found that the incident involved three commercial greenhouses and there are currently five fire engines at the scene dealing with the incident.
People living nearby are advised to keep their windows shut to avoid homes being filled with smoke.
The fire involves a high voltage electricity cable. Crews are liasing with Manweb and have set up water curtains to protect neighbouring properties, which have been evacuated as a precaution.
