THE Market Shopping Centre in Crewe is inviting shoppers to take park in a host of free Spring themed children’s activities over the Half Term Holidays.
Staff from Crewe Library will be hosting drop in events on Wednesday, February 19 and Friday, February 21, where children and parents can take part in free craft events, enter a fun colouring completion and meet the Bookstart Bear.
The library staff will also be on hand to offer advice about library services, to help sign up new borrowers and to answer any questions parents may have about the library in general.
Crewe librarian, Gemma Barnes, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to come out and chat to Crewe Shoppers, young and old, about the great range of services available at their local library.
"We are very grateful to The Market for hosting this event which, we hope, will help more people discover the joy of reading.”
On Thursday, February 20, shoppers can take part in a Spring seed planting workshop to grow their own flower and post updates on the progress to the Centre’s Facebook page.
All of events are free to take part in and will take place in the mall from 10am to 4pm on each day.
