A NATIONAL charity is looking for volunteers to assist blind people.

Guide Dogs’ My Guide scheme provides human assistants to blind people to enable them to get out of their homes and into the community.

The charity currently require someone in the Crewe area to assist a local blind person for a few hours on Thursday or Friday mornings, helping them visit a garden centre and the town centre.

The volunteer will need to have their own car but all petrol expenses will be covered by Guide Dogs.

Full training will be provided by Guide Dogs Liverpool Mobility Team.
