CHESHIRE Fire and Rescue Service has issued safety warnings ahead of a predicted band of rain, sleet and snow.
Forecasters have suggested several inches of snow could fall, which also means frost and icy patches on the roads.
To stay safe on the roads, residents are advised to look at the road safety advice issued by the Fire and rescue Service at cheshirefire.gov.uk/public-safety/road-safety/winter-driving
Fire and home safety advice has also been issued, with residents advised to keep warm but protect from the threat of accidental fires.
