THE British Red Cross in Cheshire is looking for cyclists to join its team for the famous London to Paris Special Tour Edition this July.

The challenge – taking place between July 23 to 28 – takes you on a 300 mile cycle over four days between two of the worlds most beautiful capital cities.

Starting in London, you will cycle through the British countryside before heading across the channel to take in the fascinating historic towns and beautiful French countryside.

Jo Dootson, senior community fundraiser for the Red Cross in Cheshire, added: “This is an awesome event and the chance to emulate your Tour de France heroes when completing your epic journey.

"All money raised goes to help the Red Cross respond to crises and disasters affecting people in the UK and overseas – including house fires, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, war and famine”.

By cycling for the Red Cross, you will be helping people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. As a Red Cross participant we will support you every pedal of the way with inspirational fundraising ideas and plenty of training advice.

The Red Cross has a limited number of guaranteed places available in this challenge.

A place costs £149 to register and cyclists are challenged to raise £1,480 in sponsorship. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!
