COLLEAGUES from Ryman stationary in Crewe are preparing to brave the longest and fastest zip wire in Europe to raise £5,000 for Sport Relief.
On Thursday, March 20, six employees will make their way down to Zip World in Penrhyn Quarry, Snowdonia.
One by one, they will take on the mighty descent reaching speeds of over 100mph and travelling 500ft above the mountain lake.
Director of Marketing and Merchandising, Sarah Cheetham, who has organised the event said: “We can’t wait to experience the closest thing a human can get to flying.
“We are literally going over the edge for Sport Relief this year and hoping to raise as much money as possible for such a great cause.”
