CREWE’S local plan – part of Cheshire East’s plan for the whole borough – is now open for residents to have their say on it.
Following approval at full council on February 28, Cheshire East Council has published its Local Plan, ready to hand over to the Secretary of State for public examination.
The plan sets out the case for sustainable economic growth and is the strategy that will manage development in Cheshire East up to 2030.
Before handing over to the Secretary of State, the council is inviting formal representations on the Local Plan and accompanying documents.
The representation period runs for six weeks, until 5pm on April 25, and forms can be found online at cheshireeast.gov.uk/localplan or by visiting Knutsford library and customer service points in the borough.
All representations received during this period will be collated and submitted to the Secretary of State, along with the Local Plan Strategy and accompanying documents, for consideration by a planning inspector.
