Police arrest escaped Crewe man in Liverpool
POLICE have arrested a fugitive who escaped from a prison van near Crewe.
John Inglesby escaped from the vehicle at 5.25pm on Wednesday March 19 on the A534, just prior to junction 17 of the M6 heading towards Sandbach.
The 28-year-old was arrested at 12.15am on Saturday, March 22, after being stopped in Liverpool by officers.
He was taken into custody by Merseyside Police, and transferred to a Cheshire custody suite.
