THE Third annual charity concert in aid of muscular dystrophy will see performances from Crewe Male Voice Choir and the Cheshire Constabulary Band.

Local Crewe couple Karen and Neil Robinson arrange the fundraiser each year for their six-year-old son, Thomas, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

This year’s event takes place at the new venue of St. Peter's Church on Earle Street in Crewe on Saturday March 29 at 7.30pm.

Neil said: “The previous two concerts have provided such a wonderful evening of entertainment and everyone has told us how much they enjoyed the event.

“With almost 200 people in attendance in 2013, we are hoping that more people will be able to come and support us this year and raise even more funds for such a worthy cause.”

Tickets are £7 in advance from Crewe Male Voice Choir Members or by calling 01270 212236, or £8 on the door.
