A NANTWICH takeaway is up and running following a fire that devastated its interior twelve weeks ago.

Pizza Parlour in the Swine Market has a brand new menu and is offering special offers to celebrate its rise from the ashes.

Manager Amran Khan remembers finding out the terrible news that his business was going up in flames on January 21.

“I got up and there was a phone call. They said the shop was on fire. I couldn’t believe it,” said Amran. “I’d only been there the night before and it was fine when I left. It was the extractor fan that caused it.”

Fire-fighters managed to contain the blaze, which left Pizza Parlour’s interior gutted.

“We’re back now. We re-opened this week and business is picking up slowly,” added Amran, who is offering 25 per cent discounts on collection orders before 10pm from Monday 21 to Friday 25 April.
