It was chocolate heaven recently as over 400 Easter Eggs were delivered by staff from Richmond Village Nantwich and Sainsbury’s Nantwich to local children at The Wingate Centre, Leighton Hospital Children’s Ward and Crewe Women’s Refuge.
The eggs were donated over the past month by Residents at Richmond Nantwich, Sainsbury’s customers, The Cat Community Radio Station and Custom Powders in Crewe and they will all bring a smile to the faces of children in the local area.
Kerry Coles, Operational Manager at Crewe Women’s Refuge said “Thank you so much. This will make a huge difference to the families that we work with this Easter.” Lynne Griffin, Village Manager at Richmond Village went on to say “This is the fourth year that we have collected the Easter Eggs and we are always overwhelmed by the generosity of people. Thank you to everyone who gave an egg to this Appeal.”
