A FASHION show will be one of the highlights of an action-packed weekend raising money for a new South Cheshire hospice and training centre.

Kath Schofield, owner of ladies clothes shop Secara in Nantwich, will display the latest spring and summer styles at Fashion and Fizz on Monday, May 12.

It takes place at Tirley Garth in Tarporley - the country home of Hollyoaks TV mogul Phil Redmond – where the weekend starts with a spring ball on the Friday.

Proceeds from the weekend, which also includes a Sunday luncheon, will go to St Luke’s Centre of Excellence under construction at Wheelock Heath.

Mrs Schofield is supporting Fashion and Fizz in memory of her sister, Judith Wiltshire, who passed away at St Luke’s in Winsford. Judith was well-known in the area, working as a librarian in Kings Grove School in Crewe for many years.

She said: “Two years have passed since we lost Judith but I will never forget how supportive staff were and how they gave my sister dignity in her final days.”

The evening will showcase stylish dresses and separates from Secara as well as jewellery from Boodles. Tickets at £20 include champagne and canapes.

They are available from Secara on Hospital Street or by calling Martha Hine at St Luke’s on 01606 555685.
