A MEETING to feedback findings from the Crewe and Nantwich public transport consultation will be held at the Crewe Arms tonight, Wednesday April 23 at 7pm.

The consultation has been held across the area in recent months.

The list of keynote speakers will include Louise Ellman MP, Chair of the Parliamentary Transport Select Committee; Brian Simpson MEP, Chair of the EU Transport & Tourism Committee and Lord Richard Rosser, House of Lords spokesperson on Transport matters.

Dr. Adrian Heald, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate and local NHS specialist, who has led the consultation will be presenting the findings.

He said: "I look forward to presenting the key themes that people have suggested, including more buses going to Leighton Hospital at evenings and weekends, better bus connections at Crewe Railway Station and a joined up network of dedicated cycle paths, and to a lively discussion about ways that we can enhance our transport infrastructure in Crewe and Nantwich."
