MANCHESTER United footballer Nick Powell was at Shavington High School’s annual talent show this week.
The ex-Crewe Alexander star presented the awards at Shavington’s Got Talent 2014.
The winner was Chloe Thorpe, who sang Adele’s version of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’.
In second place were dancers Charlotte Oakley, Hannah Dale and Sophie Thorpe, and third place went to budding ventriloquist Matthew Smith.
To end the evening, teachers, Mr Richardson and Mr Aspinall took part in ‘Wax the Teacher’ for charity.
Pupils had raised £200 to see their ‘favourite’ teacher endure a leg wax, with proceeds going to Christie’s in Manchester, to support people battling cancer.
