Crewe Clean Team coordinator, Margaret Smith, visits the area that Crewe Clean Team will be targeting on May 17.
CREWE Clean Team is gearing up for one of their toughest tidy tasks to date.
Members of the team are seeking volunteers to tackle the woodland area to the rear of the Odeon Cinema on Dunwoody Way.
“We'll have to be careful because the area is strewn with broken glass. We cannot allow children to join us this time - it is just too dangerous - but we would be glad of any other help,” said team chairman, Dave McDonald.
The team meet at 10am on May 17 at the Crosville Club car park.
Equipment will be provided. Long sleeves and stout footwear recommended.
Afterwards, refreshments will be courtesy of Ivor Thelwell at the Crosville Club.
