Man charged after Crewe cyclist death
A MAN has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision in Nantwich last year.
Paul Anthony Byrne, 36, from Leigh, was arrested on Tuesday, November 12 following a collision between a cyclist and a lorry in Whitchurch Road, Nantwich.
Crewe cylist, Stewart Gandy, 65, died at the scene of the incident.
Following enquiries, Paul Byrne was charged with causing death by dangerous driving on April 30.
He has been bailed to appear at South Cheshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 20.
