THOUSANDS are expected to descend on Reaseheath College for the annual Family Festival on May 18.
Among this year’s headline attraction is Titan, a giant robot, Bloodhound SSC, a replica of the car which has been dubbed the world’s fastest, and stunt team ‘The Devil’s Horsemen’.
A world record attempt at the largest ‘Oops Upside Your Head’ dance will also take place and there will be appearance by guests including Celtica Irish Dancing, The Voice contestant Joe Keegan and the band Hex.
There will also be a variety of WW1-themed activities to mark the centenary.
Marketing Manager Glyn Ferriday said: “Reaseheath’s Family Festival always attracts thousands of visitors. We have planned an exciting programme and all areas of the college will be open for families to explore.
“We have kept the admission prices the same as for the last couple of years, so the event is really good value. It’s a great opportunity for the public to see Reaseheath at its best.”
The festival opens at 10am. Tickets cost £5 for adults, £4 for children and under 3s go free. A family ticket can be purchased for £15. Visit reaseheath.ac.uk/familyfestival for more information.
