PUPILS showcased a series of dazzling hair and beauty styles in a special project to round off their diploma courses at South Cheshire College.
Year 11 students from four local high schools created styles based on different themes before their work was modelled at the College’s Crewe campus.
The Level One Intro to the Hair and Beauty Sector Diploma group produced styles based on the theme of ‘countries’ while the Hair and Beauty Services Level Two Diploma pupils styled their work around the theme of ‘eras’.
Schools that were involved in the event included Sir William Stanier High School, St Thomas More Catholic High School, Ruskin Community High School, Shavington High School and Malbank School.
Gemma Crutchley, Hairdressing Lecturer at South Cheshire College, said: “The standard of work that students produced for the showcase event was of an exceptionally high standard.
“The group have all done themselves proud and this gave them the opportunity to show off their skills, with the help of hair and make-up models.
“We look forward to welcoming many of the students on to full time hair and beauty courses at college from September.”
