GRAPHIC Design students from Crewe celebrated seeing their work up in lights after completely re-branding a company showroom.

The enterprising South Cheshire College group teamed up with Crewe-based Hybrid Services Ltd, the UK’s sole distributors of Mimaki wide format printing equipment, to transform the firm’s Crewe showroom.

Students were mentored throughout the exclusive project by Crewe design and marketing agency, UV Creative, who are specialists in design, advertising and re-branding.

UV creative director, Duncan Jefferies, said: “We were delighted to work with South Cheshire College students on this exciting project.

“Students were given a brief to re-brand the showroom, creating a design that would deliver a unique theme and a selection of materials which would show off the printing capabilities of the machines.

“Students were very professional when they pitched their ideas to us and Hybrid Services representatives before a design was chosen and the group finalised their ideas.

“It’s fantastic to see the student designs come to life and it has been a great opportunity for them to work to a live client brief.”
