A GROUP working to perpetuate the legacy of a famous Nantwich painter have donated a limited edition watercolour print to a revamped local hotel.
To mark the completion of their 12.5 million pound, 113 bedrooms extension, AB&H Prints donated a Haydn Jones watercolour print of St Mary’s Church in Nantwich to Alvaston Hall Hotel.
It’s nearly 20 years since the hotel purchased an entire collection of prints by Haydn to be displayed in their rooms and corridors – representing the largest collection of the artist’s work in any one place.
A collection of limited edition watercolour prints depicting Haydn’s local scenes can be viewed at Harvest Interiors Showroom in Pepper Street – with a £10 donation from each purchase going to St Luke’s Hospice.
