Parents advised to check school status during strike action
PARENTS are advised to phone schools to check whether they are affected by nationwide strike action today.
Seven schools across Cheshire East are closed and another 30 partially open.
78 schools remain open, while the status of three more is unknown.
Knutsford Library is also closed.
Cheshire East Council contact centres will be provided at Delamere House in Crewe and Macclesfield Town Hall.
Day service and community-based day services will be closed at Macon House in Crewe. Other services based at Macon House will remain open.
