YOUNGSTERS from local primary schools enjoyed an action-packed week of fun activities at South Cheshire College.

Primary College 2014 gave over 1,000 primary school children the opportunity to try new and exciting activities ranging from calligraphy and cheerleading to drama and dance.

The event took place at South Cheshire College’s Dane Bank Avenue campus between Tuesday 8-11 July.

Primary College, in its 20th year, brought together youngsters from 30 Crewe and Nantwich primary schools, to give them a taste of South Cheshire College at a young age.

Mike Finney, head of school liaison at South Cheshire College, said: “We were, once again, delighted to offer an action-packed schedule of activities for youngsters and give them the opportunity to use our excellent college facilities.

“I’d like to say thank-you to all the college and school staff, students and volunteers who have helped to make the week such a success.”
