QUEEN'S Park Ants volunteer group are ready for action again this weekend - with weeding and tidying up high on the agenda.
Spokesman Diane Scoffin said: "We do have a keen group of regulars but each month there are always new faces to welcome. It's great that news of the Ants work in the park is still spreading to the people of Crewe one year on from the group's formation."
This month's activity coincides with 'Love Parks Week' which is a national event aimed at encouraging people to appreciate and make the most of parks and open spaces in their area.
Anyone wishing to join the Ants can pop along to the lodge at the main entrance anytime between 10am-3pm on Saturday or Sunday.
