CREWE Town Council has launched a new website giving details of up and coming events.
crewelife.net was designed as a means of promoting events by community groups and charities, a wide range of cultural entertainment, musical events and even something for foodies.
Mayor Clr Pam Minshall said “We are delighted to unveil this new way of showing the very best that Crewe has to offer, as we have so much home grown local talent in the town, and I invite everybody to come and see that there is a much more exciting side to Crewe and our local people.”
Clr Joy Bratherton, chairman of the community and environment committee, said: “After the Great War Conference and the International Festival, we are hoping to capitalise on the popularity of local events. It is important for people to see that there is more to Crewe than meets the eye. We are also looking for volunteers to help maintain the website.”
If you have an upcoming event that you would like promoting, or if you wish to be more involved in the website, then contact info@crewelife.net
