THE world's biggest cheese show got underway in Nantwich today (Tuesday) ahead of the town's annual show taking place tomorrow, Wednesday.
A record number of 4,500 dairy products from across the globe were on display in the town on Tuesday during the judging and trade day of the international cheese festival.
Among judges at Tuesday’s Trade Day opener was former Coronation Steet star Sean Wilson who is now a champion cheesemaker with his Saddleworth Cheese Company.
On Wednesday the cheese marquee at Dorfold Park is opened to the public for the Nantwich Show, with a host of celebrity chefs giving foodie masterclasses including Saturday Kitchen star James Martin.
Other attractions on offer include stunt drivers in the main ring, display of vintage cars as well as a enlarged town and country shopping pavilion.
Gates open to the public at 8am on Wednesday, with admission costing £18 for adults, £13 for senior citizens and £7 for junior.
