THE first talk in a series of talks accompanying Nantwich Museum’s First World War exhibition will take place at 3pm on Wednesday, August 20.

Local historian, Mark Potts, will speak on The Great War and its cost to the families of Nantwich. Mark will focus on 1914/15 and will recount stories of people of the time.

Mark's recently published book, Where the Fallen Live Forever, co-authored with Tony Marks is on sale in the museum shop.

The talk will take place in the Millennium Gallery on the ground floor of the museum. Tickets £3.

The museum’s Great War exhibition is being financed by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant of £3,800 covering the cost of the display materials, interactive elements, a programme of events and accompanying literature.
