SOUTH Cheshire College in Crewe is expanding its range of higher education qualifications from September 2014.

New courses, including higher national certificates and higher national diplomas, are being offered in areas including construction, engineering and counselling.

Various qualifications are accredited by top universities including Manchester Metropolitan, Chester and Liverpool John Moores.

Karl Jackson, higher education co-ordinator at South Cheshire College, said: “We already deliver many higher education qualifications, but these new qualifications will help us to expand our provision even further.

“We are particularly excited about the new HNCs and HNDs and hope that people will come and sign up for these great courses which can help them to progress in the workplace or secure employment.”

The College is staging special HE Advice Evenings in August and September for anyone who wants to find out more about the different courses.

Sessions take place on Tuesday 12, 19 and 26 of August and Tuesday, September 26. All sessions between 4pm-7pm.

Karl added: “The advice sessions are an opportunity for people to come along and find out more about what we have to offer and have a chat about what HE course might suit them best.”
