A MAN will appear in court this morning charged with two counts of attempted murder following two stabbings in Crewe town centre at the weekend.
A 72-year-old woman was stabbed close to WH Smiths in the Victoria Centre around 11.30am on Saturday, August 16.
She remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 55-year-old man was then attacked close to the Asda store shortly afterwards. He was taken to hospital before being discharged.
Matthew Bullows, 29, of West Street area in Crewe will appear at South Cheshire Magistrates this morning charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
